Hi Everyone! I know I've been MIA for awhile now, but I haven't abandoned this blog and I do intend to begin blogging regularly once I feel up to it. Its difficult to share your personal life when blogging because
the blogosphere is filled with so many cheerful posts and pictures of
beautiful things, that there doesn't really seem a place for it. I mean
who would want to read an emo blog. But I've had some of the most difficult weeks of my life and blogging has been the furthest thing from my mind.
One of my closest friends passed away unexpectedly and its been very hard to process. She was only 24 years old. My friends and I are all in our twenties...the age where you're really supposed to start living. Isn't this time supposed to be filled with engagements not funerals? Its so strange when someone you see all the time, who's at every outing, get together, event, who always answers your texts, who sits by you in class, who you talk to so often is all the sudden gone. Its heartbreaking. If I learned anything from this horrible experience, its how lucky I am to have had such an amazing friend and how lucky I am to have an amazing group of friends through everything.
